After calming down from yesterday's match.

while it's super stressful..... It sure makes for maximum interest. Every game left is so important.

Why did it take so long to show the picture of the ball almost crossing the line in the keepers hands?
Was someone making a drawing on the computer so that it matched the decision?

Hopefully that referee will be reviewed and sacked. He obviously didn't even know that he had already booked Gudmundsonn. In addition, Johnson could easily have had 3 yellow cards - his challenge on (ironically) Gudmundsonn in the first half was worse than the second yellow and his 3rd bad foul (the trip) was basically assault.

he won't get sacked. he'll get a bonus for doing such a good job and we'll likely have him for at least one more game.

I wish they would have given him a drug test. He looked impaired whenever the camera focused on him. He was also confused for large periods of the game.

saw some retired has-been ref (dermot) that was also a jack off defending the second yellow because johnson didn't pull his shirt nor was it a "tactical foul". In the same sentence he also said that was why Gudmunsonn was sent off.

The only problem was that he didn't pull his shirt and it wasn't a tactical foul.

Is it any wonder why we get these ass hats for refs week in and week out? if that's the level of ref that "mentored and selected" them so they are so hapless that probably don't know what day it is. I am eagerly awaiting the head bootlicker hackets opinion on what a good job the clown did and how great the ref's union is on protecting the "integrity" of the game. it's like we start every game one man down.

The good news out of that game upon reflection is that we didn?t crumble in the face of stupid things going against us.

Even with 10 men we looked fairly solid.

Ampadu put in a real captains performance too.

So when is this blame ref going to stop it's like all refs are our enemies. Did the ref make dcl miss the penalty? Did the red card surprise? As I seen it coming way before and like I said lucky not to be two down in the first half. The fact we played better with ten than we did in the first half did the ref stop it? It's easy to blame one person all the time rather than the real problems of players managers so on.
We should have won the game we didn't it and that is it.

OMG!!!!! We have the same view on the "blame the ref" mantra, how remarkable is that??

The ref isn't the reason we lost. However, when you pay the money that fans do to watch a game and the TV networks pays huge money for broadcast rights then it's not unreasonable to expect a competent ref.

Using your logic... why not just have a goat pasture of a pitch and put together a team that excels in aerial play. You win the majority of your games against teams that expect a decent pitch. Perhaps because the supporters and viewers expect a better product. Why not expect better officiating at this level.

I think this guy was ****ed up. Either a long night of drinking before the game or he's a meth head. The other option is he's got a swiss bank account somewhere. Either way it's hard to believe anyone is this poor at the prem level. The clown that watched Strujik wrestled to the ground was more of the swiss bank account kind of guy.
