The Project has been a rollercoaster.
Most of our enthusiasm was generated by the promise that Mike Ashley was gone and the new owners would come in with big ambition and even bigger pocket books. PSR killed that that enthusiasm but things have slowly been getting better.

There's no doubt that we aren't where most would expect us to be at this stage. Given the comments by Hopkinson recently, I'm thinking the Executives agree.

However, we've lifted Silverware in the first time in many of our lifetimes. We've played in Europe two of the last three seasons and we have some legitimately world class players.

We seem to be at a fork in the road. Eddie Howe has performed very poorly this season, but he isn't the only one to blame.
Some players lack talent. Others lack character. And the depth is nowhere close to where it should be.

Given the performances this week, its hard to argue that the players and manager are on the same page.
When its getting as bad as it has this week, you either change the manager or clear out the deadwood in the next window. I'm not sure which will happen but I predict a busy summer.
