Needed villa to win and spurs draw, 1 out of 2 at the moment, hate having to rely on others but we make our own mess

Spurs win would have been better as it would keep us 4 clear of the scabs

The next run of games for those in the mire ,

    Scum v Leeds
    West Ham v Wolves
    Scabs v Villa
    Sunderland v Spurs

We won't get feck all at scum.
    West Ham will beat Wolves
Good time to play Villa so fancy they will get 1-3 pts.
Sunderland are dreadful but so are Spurs , 1-1 draw.

Calling it now , we are sleepwalking back to the Championship.
That's as maybe, results like today make any prediction "difficult", to say the least!

Thing is, even if we survive, is it credible to suggest that we won't be in exactly the same position at the end of season 26/7?

Exactly, if we do by hook or by crook survive, and I really don’t think we will, then I believe we will be in this same position again next season, battling for survival week upon week is not enjoyable, but going down all we’ll be doing is trying to get back to where we are now, basically I’m losing interest rapidly and thinking what’s the point in all this.

We should be pretty much save by now if we had taken the opportunities by being a bit more bold in selection and tactics on the pitch.

Tanaka was excellent when he came on and James showed that he can me more direct and effective than Aaronson.

Still not sure what Gnonto has to do to get minutes Farke must be killing his soil.

Tanaka was excellent when he came on and James a a lot more effective than Aaronson. Not sure what Gnonto has to do to get game minutes - Farke is ruining him.

its the implementation of Law 3 which requires a team to have a goalkeeper at all times,Billy.

any player can replace a keeper but a team is never forced to operate with a temporary empty net while a keeper is treated off field so is exempted from the removal rules that state outfield players must leave the pitch after receiving on field treatment, the goalkeeper is specifically exempt from this requirement by the International Football Association Board, IFAB.

certainly Farke would not accept that from one of his players faking injury as an excuse for a tactical chit chat but have seen enough oppo coaches screaming at fourth officials of our current keeper holding onto the ball for an alleged more than eight seconds which is now punished with a corner for the opposition. all rules rightly introduced to clamp down on time wasting, so for some coaches all those elements appear to be now taken advantage of Billy.

certainly most keepers of character would not feign injury and certainly not my son who has suffered a broken nose, teeth and a ruptured testicle to name a few all successfully healed now.
