I think the story is complete BS but it?s funny all the same

possibly but wouldn't be a surprise. I mean, Wissa hasn't worked out at Newcastle, the club are looking for at least 1 striker in the summer. Wissa could end up in Saudi or if Meteta moves on from Palace, Wissa would be the ideal replacement.

He's got a book value of 44m quid in the summer so a 35m quid offer from Palace would see the Congolese hit the bricks back to Electric avenue.

Good point, yes there will have been compensation. However, not sure if it's just a scheduled amount of insurance money that covers the players wages.

I would assume that the deal with Brentford wasn't 55m quid, it'll be 45+10 or 50+5.

The +5/10 will not be achieved obviously. The man hasn't been able to hit the side of a barn let alone goal scoring targets.
