    thank you for insight.

even though I'm old now I do remember the primal intensity of my younger days! we all would have some things differently! However, also wouldn't change a lot of thing done during our youth.

I do struggle to comprehend what it would be like to have the fame, fortune and the constant scrutiny these athletes go through at that young of an age.

Unfortunately when youth becomes famous and money enriched it more often backfires as they tend do the wrong things eg friends and vices. As for Charlie like Mrs O says but one change is he found managers that recognized his talents and accordingly helped him out to reach he capibilitys. We on the other hand have More of a dictator that only recognize himself and fine tuning his Barbie voice.

Charlie has always been mature and captained most of the youth teams he has played in.

Farke doesn?t like any show of disagreement as he is too thin skinned. Big mistake on his part and there are lots of other examples.

Sure Tanaka and Gnonto will want to leave at the end of the season so that the can actually play and develop. Equally Ramazani and Jospeh won?t want to come back unless there is a change in coach. Ditto Joffy.

Farke definitely has his favourites , Tanaka has one bad game and he can't get back in , how many bad games does Aaronson have before he gets dropped.

    Piss poor.

Sure a psychiatrist would have a field day with Farke?s seemingly insecure nature.

difficulties with VPNs, new phones and still awaiting clearance to post on here again deem the resident forum shrink still inactive.

as said many times in football including several of our players when aged 21 in that they were merely only promising at that age and none being mentioned was close to being a great pl player in many trained eyes.
indeed many players need transfers to age into their best physical and mental selves, maybe takes longer but often reaching the top a bit later helps them stay there so any mooted if only scenarios some may say are based on counterfactual thinking, as in thoughts about alternatives to past events, that is, thoughts of what might have been.

as for Charlie Cresswell it was Farkes decision to have Rodon and Struijk start as many games as possible together which clearly worked, with Farkes side racking up the 100 points on their way into lifting the Championship and we as a club then slanted our search in last summers pl window towards signing even more experienced players including centre-back reinforcements of Bijol and Bornauw, who both played regular competitive top flight European football convincingly hence been signed.

as ever a newly promoted relegation threatened pl side do not have the luxury of long term planning as survival is the main priority, so clubs are realisticly going to favour pros with experience and all clubs head coaches know that remit in such circumstance.

whether Charlie was ever going to oust Rodon and Strujk in the winning Championship team or be better than the combos we had also available back then is debatable as is was he first choice starter to have in pl now ?

for my grey matter, gaining consistent direct playing time experience weekly is generally considered better than being on the bench for accelerating any young players development .
certainly odd minutes do not prepare players for any 90 minute pl match pressures or indeed the physical and mental demands required and moving on a young player to a new club is a significant step and as a parent i will vouch it involves lots of emotional support including a driven desire within when addressing such emotion rollercoaster decisions and from a personal professional perspective then one often sees the game at its worst wheeling and dealing in players futures behind the public spectrum.

in all Charlie Cresswell interviews he states all communication he had with Leeds were very direct, open and above all honest involving all coaches and support team at that time helping him and likewise at Toulouse and any press spin on matters is just spin and was spin.

fact is all players sign contracts and if unhappy move onto pastures new likewise coaches and agents and even an option for fans of which some also do, hence the phrase of plastic fans.
as for Farkes future then suggestions welcome but as Eddie Howe knows you cannot please everyone connected to clubs as seen on this thread and as the turnover of players each season shows.
    As a fan am I happy ?
No, but some still March on Together writing ridiculous long threads in response.

😊 - don’t disagree with a lot of that just think Farke is appalling at handling young and squad players.

He has done well this season but could have been so much better and his sight of 17th and 38 points showed zero ambition.

Hey. Ho I have secured FA Cup tickets to continue my run of seeing us lose at Wembley.

    P11 L 8 D1 W 2 - not the greatest of records in any era.

Not sure which thread I posted on regarding managerial expertise (probably a few), but I'm sure I suggested that replacing Der Fuhrer with Nuno quite some time ago would be beneficial. If only.
