    Sadly, I completely concur.

The manager was given the players, but they have completely failed to deliver. Of course it?s a competitive league and everyone is scrapping for points, but Queens have just not played to their potential enough.

There have been flashes of brilliance and what might have been, but too many periods of drab mediocrity, petulance and frustration from Kennedy and Smith ( in particular) and other team members not giving their all.

The petulance has led to indiscipline on the pitch and lost points, while a lack of enthusiasm from the manager has contributed to the lack lustre performances.

From the paying punters perspective, they can ?feel? the lack of passion, as players and manager have often gone through the motions, leading to a very unsatisfying season.

For me, it feels as though, there?s been a ?that?ll do? approach, rather than ?I must give 100% in every game?.

Kai and Lewis have been unplayable on odd occasions, usually for 15 to 20 minutes per game, but for much of the time, they have ?hidden? and been completely ineffective.

It?s the same with Dickenson and Lyon, - sometimes they are simply breathtaking, but for long periods they are simply taking breaths and hardly contributing.

In a nutshell, Queens have underperformed throughout this season and have let themselves and the fans down.

    Your last paragraph, exactly.

Definitely underformed throughout the season with flashes of half decent play against, ultimately, average part-time teams.

There's also the train of thought, or certainly mine, that most of the players are just not good enough. That's not their fault of course, it's just the way it is. Yesterday's villains a case in point. Hannah did OK last season and was lauded as the new Franco Baresi when he signed a deal at the beginning of the season. He's maybe looked slightly better than he is beside the hapless Douglas however he's played in a team that constantly leaks piss poor goals

I agree it's another hugely disappointing result but I have seen plenty of effort from Kia and Reece. I don't agree on lack of effort from those two. I think too much play goes through Kia and other teams know this. We simply have an unbalanced squad and a manager who doesn't motivate.
I see on Pie and Bovril it's forty years since a great game saw Queens beat Dunfermline 3-1 with Dumfries Doonhamers Kevin Hetherington and Stewart Cochrane scoring the goals in front of over 4000 fans when the previous season we were struggling to get 400. Happy Days.
    Keep the faith Doonhamers.

Good win this afternoon and a better 2nd half performance in windy conditions. Added bonus that other results went our way also.

Yesterday?s second half was brilliant!! Queens bossed the 2nd 45 with Kennedy and Smith almost unplayable at times, - hence the manhandling of Smith which would have resulted in a period in the sin-bin in rugby!
Our subs looked hungry when they came on - and for once I was really disappointed when the final whistle blew!
Well done to the entire team and even Murphy looked animated. More please, - much more!

With Peterhead losing to ICT we?re in sight of the playoffs already. A draw on Saturday against Peterhead would seal it, then I recommend we stay match fit and injury free in the last 2 games. The final game against Alloa is utterly meaningless.
