I know what you mean, Hughie.

I'm honestly not sure how to feel but I have a growing dread/acceptance that his time here may be coming to an end. He hasn't shown that he knows how to solve our problems. In particular, this stat about throwing away 25 points from winning positions-and that's just in the league. A single pass can take out our whole midfield, our intensity has gone, tactics are stale and predictable and in-game management is horrendous.

This has been going on since last season and it's only getting worse. My fear is that we've seen the best of Eddie and are now seeing the worst. The parallels with how it ended at Bournemouth for him are strikingly-and worryingly-similar.

I bet bookies just throw in the names and cut the odds from time to time on managerial appointments just to make it look like its already a done deal

I agree with you 100% there, Zip. Those are my exact worries about Eddie currently - and like someone said on another thread, if he does go on to have another good season with us next year, will we be back to square one again once we're back in the Champions League? One would think so.

Still, out of respect for what he's done to the club, I'd just rather not speculate too much, publicly
