    Well done Under 21s

Our Under 21s had a hard fought win by 2-1 against West Brom at the Turf tonight to go through to the PL Cup Final.
Two smashing goals by Clark and Mousara sealed the victory along with a tremendous goalkeeping display by Cooney who made several fine saves to keep us in the game.
West Brom will be disappointed because they missed several chances, however, our lads kept at it and got the victory.

Congratulations to all concerned and good luck in the final.

Very much doubt any of these lads will see 1st team action. Those who are exceptional (if any) will be sold to the likes of City and United for an undisclosed fee, and the rest loaned out to lower league clubs. The only chance they will get of progressing at Burnley is if things go totally pair shape in the next 12 months, ie league 1. 27/28 season.
