I've got nothing against Alex Revell and his "achievement" but I wouldn't want to watch that style of football every week.
    Just my opinion.
And mine, dreadful team?.another wycombe past.

Yeah...cos play-offs is much worserer than relegation.
    Well done Revs.

Well done Alex. Stevenage certainly stank out NYS with their "style'. The Wycombe comparison is valid.
Perhaps he would have loved to have played like Brazil but had to cut his cloth according to what resources he had available, in order to bring success. Some might (sorry - certainly would) have complained about the style of play but would anybody seriously have preferred relegation playing decent football (not that we did!) to a play-off place watching dire football every week?
I absolutely understand the no nostalgia 'never go back' feelings but I give you king Ronnie, Warney and Mark Robins.
Would I appoint Revell? I'm glad it's not my decision (or anybody else's I suspect - can't see him wanting to come here, especially with the current farce going on at our club and especially if he wins promotion)
Anyway good luck mate. I hope you do it

Tripped yourself up with the never go back there. Ronnie as manger first time outstanding, 2nd time not so great. So yeah never go back agreed. Ronnie Moore, Steve evans bit of a theme don?t you think. As in players who have played for the club definitely go back. If they are willing to come back as a manager after playing here then that shows there affiliation to the club, again Ronnie, Warney and if your counting youth teams hammy.

I should have made it clear that I was referring to former players coming back as managers. Former managers? Yep - not so good

Stevenage did the basics and did them well. They had a plan, were organised, knew their jobs and did them well. We didnt do any of those things.

We lost 1-0 on aggregate to Stevenage. Their thuggish centre-half was allowed to kick, pull, push by weak officials. Especially taking down strikers in the mid-field on their way to the penalty area.
Perhaps we were too nice and soft.

Not sure how supporters of a relegated team can be arsey over another team who might be promoted.
