If we got good money for him (bearing in mind we give 15 percent to Everton) then I'd be happy enough for him to go.
He's a good player-sometimes really good-and he seems like a decent lad so I hope he goes on to do well if he goes.

Reports today that haven't been denied anywhere that his agent/team have met with Bayern.
If this is the case and is being reported so blatently with no comment from the club, you'd have to think there is something in it, then we must have agreed with Bayern they can talk - meaning we're trying to sell him early doors.
Hopefully this shows we've learnt from the Isak debacle about players saying they want to go etc.
May also explain why he hasn't started last 2 games.

Cant be true (hes sh*t isnt he?)
He's not ****e, but he has had a disappointing season in the Premier League and doesn't perhaps bring the individual X factor as much as the team needs when we're looking for that extra goal/assist to make a difference. To me, this is what sets him apart from being a truly quality player. Of which I hoped he would be that player for us because we don't have (m)any.
Just watched Bayern last night - sure, I think Gordon is just as good as Olise. I just don't think he will add anything extra to that position for them, but I guess it's a no-brainer that he will perform better in a team that's used to winning every year.
I can see us getting stuck over the price and Gordon acting the (unt to force a move.
When he left Everton to come to us he was basically hounded out by their fans and I always felt a bit sorry for him dealing with those 'kin nutters, but what was their main beef with him, I forget ?
He did, but as mentioned he was hounded out by a small section of fans.
It was after a home defeat to Soton, they chased him down the street and surrounded his car, threatening him it was only then he went on strike.
They had to sell, they were charged with a points deduction that would have been much bigger if they had not, he was the only player that they really could cash in on, and got all money upfront, and got a sell on clause (10 - 15%) of any profit in the future.
My reading of the current situation is hes told the club he wants to move, but thats massively different to Isak so I would not compare the 2 situations or even call him out for going on strike at Everton I think the club is protecting his value by not risking him for the remainder of the season.
Last point, I would be surprised if he ends up at Bayern who would you play Gordon or Diaz? They dont need him, do not see Bayern paying the kind of fee we would be insisting on, unless they sell Diaz that is.
That has been starting to make the rounds that Bayern aren't will to go to the ?80 million we want.
Arsenal and LiVARpool now sniffing around - I'd loath seeing him in either shirt tbh.
