Fireworks going off all over the place but nothing sky high for some on here today. All results are now in and yes the FA Cup and a few home bankers messed it all up for a few of us.

At least this weekend we all managed to score at least one point or more!

No Shows: We had the usual 25 entries so well done everyone for your entries.


Weekly winner(s): ELK/Ackworth/Millerstale/LolMorgan were all making it a good race today but, sadly faded away on the run in. We ended up with two coming up on the rails and at the finishing post they were neck and neck so, even a photo finish couldn't separate them. Well done to CTMilller and Mr Poddington who both scored 10 normal points. We add their bonus points of 5 and a grand total of 15 points each propels them well up the table.

Jokers played: None so a slight nudge to the ten of you who still have to play theirs. This must be played before the 31st December or you lose it, simple as that. We are all then allowed to play our second Joker on or after the 1st January 2023.

Predict a Score: Ended Watford 0 v 1 Coventry so no winners!

Wooden Spoon(s): Two this weekend so it's over to Cayton and pip_y to stir it up. Hard luck chaps as there were several on 2 points but, your solitary 1 point each got you a spoon.

Like I said a low scoring Saturday but two others showed us how it's done.

AvondaleMiller is still the front runner but his old steel making mate ThaiMiller fan has thrown down the gauntlet and said he's going to oust him off the top.....let the battle commence, well I can't do anything about it this season!

I had the midas touch last season but this one????? I think I've killed a robin. I'm scrapping for my league status but I'm confident I can turn it around after the Xmas period.
