I had been waiting for this question to appear. This is why I kept stoking the fire on this thread, I really wanted to know what exactly the point was of arguing with us that thought recent performances on the pitch were below par?

It seemed to just be a silly point scoring exercise to me. If anyone said the team looked poor and disjointed, they were pointed to the results or league table, (both public documents and available to anyone to view – not info we didn’t know). Then there was the being branded as negative for saying what we’d seen with our own eyes, again I struggle to understand what was trying to be argued here.

So in order to stop this silly thread getting any more silly, please could one of the ‘you lot are negative’ brigade please explain what exactly your point was to us grumpy sods? All I see above are things being pulled from other threads to ‘prove a point’ (whatever that point may be); and sarcastic comments/jokes, being taken out of context to once again, ‘prove

Champs stop playing the victim all the time its getting boring ..no wonder Despair left ..

No ones said results dont matter but as football fans are we not allowed to question the performance ? how does a team get picked champs ..on performance ? ..in 18 months we ve seen a handfull of decent performances ..are we not allowed to ask for more ??as i say ..pointless even writing on here how the teams played on here ..and im not fckin bothering in future ..we ll just put the result up ..just for champs ..1-3..end of..

Please can somebody, (and it doesn't have to be Champs, he is not on his own here), explain what the issue is with supporters saying that they think the team has looked disjointed and below par for most of the season so far?

Howie, there have been hundreds of posters like you over the years on here. And some very interesting characters. Your run of the mill in comparison. You won't see it, but we are actually arguing the same point. I would be non pluses if you stayed or went. As someone else who will say the same things will turn up.
