The docile boy George Rutherford who writes bland pish for the programme on the odd occasions I see it, wrote a book about a calendar year of following the Dons and Scotland (nae an actual season) round about 1985.

It was an extended pamphlet rather than a book, and is exactly the tut-tutting tweed-jacketed harrumphing bland pish that one would expect.

On second thoughts, I haven’t got the Richard Gordon book - I had the kindle version, so if I could have those three, that would be great!

Richard Gordon's book was a disappointment. I read it at a Lisbon Bus Station very early in the morning whilst waiting to get into my hotel and found it quite boring. I don't know if I was doomed up about having to wait hours at the aforementioned bus station but I remember the chapter (?) on Neale Cooper being particularly abhorrent as Cooper waxed lyrical about playing for Ran-jurs
