Read something about us trying to get Shankland but could be rubbish as I thought he was off to Swansea or Sunderland

Ayr fan saying the following, whether winding I Utd fans or not i'm not sure

"Latest I heard today was that it would be one of three teams

Portsmouth, Sunderland and Dundee United , heard he would be announced at new club before middle of next week , as last week / this week was away on holiday"

Better than being linked to Doolan randomly by the Tully just so the fun can think they beat us to his signature lol

doolan to the dees....Shankland to Sunderland. Doolan ain't cutting it at this level anymore and Shankland will chase the coin down south.

Be interesting to see how Doolan does in another team. I think he's worth a punt tbh. Not a ***y signing but he knows where the goal is and if it clicks for.him he'll bang them in.

Doolan, a striker released from Partick. Doesn't fill me with a lot of confidence for the season ahead lads.

doolan- no always been a decent finisher for Partick but really struggled this season plus doesnt suit the formation neilson seems to play.
Shankland- would be a decent signing plus but doubt it would happen likelihood he will go back downsouth.
Conway- id be very surprised if he came back. money and the fact we're in championship might put him off more likely he'll end up at hearts imo.

if we could get shankland and conway then it would be two excellent additions.

Conway in the championship would be AMAZING

I think we only need a few quality additions.

    Positive for next season.

No gonnae happen though is it? Attracting players to Tannadice is getting harder every year. Most signings used to think (one season doon there) then back in the big league. But now , any potential signing is probably thinking (hmmm) they've been there a while now. Big fan base , good money invested, nae progress! We are not a big club any more , time to reflect.
