    It would reflect really badly on the EFL if they didn't allow a further short extension to get this over the line surely? There was talk of another 48 hours earlier today..

    Yesterday the EFL chairwoman said an extra 48hrs was possible meaning Tuesday because of the bank holiday, I think. May have been Wednesday.

    They've said a deal.hasnt been struck and they need more time to look at the accounts. I can't see the EFL extending

    Bet they give them a further short extension. The EFL won't want to look like the bad guys in all this, and there's been so much disruption to the fixtures already, a few more days won't make much difference.
