    According to Dr Google

Currently, under the FIFA Transfer Regulations, a football player is only allowed to be registered with a maximum of three clubs in one season. ... During this period, the player is only eligible to play official matches for two clubs.

So unless Rangers wanted him then if he has played an "official" game for them he may as well stay here ........

I believe Ogbene would be better on the left. He's not a natural crosser of the ball. On the left he doesn't have to think about it, he can use his left foot. Lamy on the right he can cross a ball, go on the outside get a cross in. Those two playing with Barlaser & Lindsay in midfield we'd win this league doing handstands, confident.

We could bring Proctor back but it's nailed on he'd immediately pick up an injury in training. I don't know what the point was in signing Lamy, PW was raving about him last year but has largely overlooked him since the day he signed. He could be a rough diamond about to slip through the net or could just be not good enough, who knows?

I think this transfer window we might be putting more effort into warding off other clubs coming in for our players than looking to bring anyone in.

Thanks Bramley. I think the regulations I looked at must have been superceded by your version.
Still think he'll be going back though 😉

From what I’ve seen then it’s the rough diamond part so I’m thinking that there might be a problem within Warnes plans but We’ll just have to wait and see what happens

Has I said on a previous posting, Leeds United defender Coyle who has been on loan at Fleetwood Town, which the loan ended 31 st December, Coyle been on loan at Fleetwood two & a half seasons up to December, his contract ends at Leeds United end of this season, so Leeds looking to sell on, it seems Fleetwood don't have the money to buy him, has said Blackpool looking at him, Leeds looking to sell in the January window, so could go cheap, Coyle played against us at the NYS, having a good game, we need a right back, maybe the player to fill the gap.
Also Burnley have recalled defender Jimmy Dunne from Fleetwood Town, it seems he has not featured in enough games for the loan to continue, not played since November 2019, he was on a season long loan, but Burnley pulled the plug early.

I have a nagging feeling that there will be more going than coming this window for us. FFS TS we are second in the league lets push on a bit. I'm not asking for the world just a couple of decent players in the correct positions-That aint the wing by the way...

I share your opinion Roly. Lack of investment last January got us relegated and the same scenario this January could stop us going up. I honestly don't think the chairman will invest to get us promoted but will take it if it comes even though he knows, that without help , he cannot finance Championship football.

Southend United, Rotherham United and Newport County are tracking Northampton Town midfielder Paul Anderson.
