China are coming out of it. There are more new cases outside China than in for the fist time.

Macua has no new cases. They will impose 14 day quarantine on travellers from Germany, Italy, France, Spain and Japan - China and Hong Kong to follow. Japan imposing its own travel restriction on many other countries.

Looks like there could be major restriction on movement in the next few months.

Definitely the case here. Not quite reached the Eyam 'Village of the damned' level yet with red Xs on doors and tolling the death knell but the State Governor is on the verge of issuing an order to everyone to stay home. Most seem to be doing that anyway as I ride the bus to work and ones that normally will have 70 people on have had 10-15 this past week.

Depends on your lifestyle. Every day Mrs CA says 'where's the cucumber?' and I reply 'it does doesn't it'

If we go to some form of lockdown in the UK and football is played behind closed doors, it will kill some clubs financially.

It looks like Italy is in total lock down on all but work and essential travelling which means no sport until 3rd April.

Being selfish do you think it would suit us to do the same to enable our players to get fit ? Seems like a good plan to me.

In light of what's happening they should shut down the league now. End the season. Either call it and teams go up/down or write it off.

This virus is going to be around for months. Not weeks.

Another option is to play the games behind closed doors , such as the Olympiakos vs Wolves game later this week, to prevent large gatherings of over 1000 people
Can you imagine the meltdown from season ticket holders

One bright note is that Chesterfield fc won,t be affected

Who do you think should fund the shortfall in the shutdown. Clubs like Southend and Macclesfield will go bust.

What short fall? There not paying the player so the pot is empty. It gives those two clubs time to find a buyer instead of doing a bury and the fa kicking them out of the league
