London has the highest cases in the country.
With a density of 5.5k per sq km. It is not surprising really. Yet dopey Londoners always think that what's good for all of us, doesn't apply to them.
I'd love to see that place bricked up.

Upon reflection, I've been thinking about our reaction to the Excel charging the NHS story. We, I include myself in this, come on here and are so judgemental about what others do, generally not fully appreciating their situations or motives. In this instance, we all felt that it was wrong to charge the NHS. But do we feel that's it's wrong for the pharmaceutical, oxygen, food supplying, vehicle leasing companies etc, to charge for their services? Excel, as many other businesses, have been severely affected by this crisis and may not have been in a position to give away millions of pounds, but we think we know better, especially when it's not our money or our efforts that are required.
    That's well thought-through Ram, agreed

I wonder how many of those thousands flaunting the rules in London parks yesterday were just missing the cameraderie of their pro-EU rallies from last year? Most I would hazard a guess.

On a more positive note...Best Western giving up hotel space for non Covid 19 hospital patients thus releasing more emergency hospital beds. Well done.

    Agreed.
Businesses could be missing a trick here, by not helping. Great PR
I've learned quite a bit already as to who isn't getting my money anymore. Mr Branson included.

Mr Branson, a greedy selfish multi millionaire - I thought he was the voice of unbiased reason that we should all listen too

As with everything people going out to sit in the park isn't black and white, right or wrong imo. Yes regarding the advice, you can't sit down and have a rest in the sun, that is clear. But there are many people, especially in London, who are confined to a tiny flat and need to be able to spend time outside. Not all these people are capable of walking for the whole time, some have young children to cope with. The existing rules don't take into consideration the mental health of such people. Unfortunately, once again, the selfish actions of those who have refused to obey the social distancing rules, are having a detrimental effect on the reasonable majority.

Or, just because its the right thing to do, see my comment about Mrs F's company above, not aware that they've publicisd their generosity and for sure they didn't do it for PR.
