A quality CB is still needed in my opinion.

Don't know Stru is only young and apart the mistake of heading the ball back in play looked good. A proper left-back is a must who can also defend set-pieces. Dallas has improved out of sight and should be playing wing as he can also finish. Wasted playing left-back as got no idea how to defend set-pieces again great in general play but for positions they play need to be better. Aylioski is the same at left all at seas set pieces.

He did have a good game, the first penalty was unlucky (said that already), the second one not so much, but you have a forward playing as a defender and getting taken advantage of, shows both the lack of experience with teammates and tactics in both cases and the naivety of a player who hasn't played in the PL for a long time and who will get taken advantage of in tuture if he doesnt wise up in the second.

The rest of the game flowed, think he got most of the decisions on fouls right, we have had MUCH worse.

Tyler Roberts not quite good enough for premier league. I know he was only in for a while but in that short time, he showed little composure. Dallas got really tired at the end defending the left wing.

Very true. Cherry you would be stuffed to if you play the way we do but I love Dallas if I was picking a team he would be the first pick.
Hope to see him playing wing one day as that is what he is.

Not sure there was no choice. Bielsa played youngsters in other positions (and they showed merit (Meslier, Struijk (despite the back header blunder), etc). Others are there, and know the "system", and would have been less "at sea".

Hard to take a 4-3 defeat but reet proud of the performance, bodes well for the season ahead, I would imagine Klopp when sat alone thinks to himself "thank fck we don't have to play Leeds every week". MOT

No problem with commitment & effort, defending still shambolic ( quality at set-pieces on show today ) although defence looked better in second half. Midfield needs some help, need a commanding CM, to support both defence and attack.
Need proper LB -Douglas?, Dallas needs to play further up in this league.
Still need CB / LB & DM, but overall good, solid start.
