I’ve never seen him play but I’m convinced that Vickers would’ve caught it.

My thoughts entirely.

When played as an out and out right full back, hes looked the part. In fact, hes looked better than that. Totally solid and reliable with the odd move forward as full backs can when on top.

When played out of that position, in either a back 3 or left wing back role hes looked suspect.

It's not Hardings fault. I hope, by moving him around, we dont shatter his confidence because we have a championship standard right back on our hands. But that's what he is: a right back.

I have no problem with Harding and, for the most part, he has done well for us this season.
However, just like any other player, there is no reason why he shouldn't be substituted when he's having a poor game.
I think most people would agree that Olosunde is ahead of him at the moment as a right wing back so Harding will either have to adapt to playing on the left or accept being dropped to the bench.
That's the reality of football.
