Some two million workers in restaurants and other service jobs in France must now show a health pass to go to work as part of government virus-fighting efforts.Members of the public are already required to show the pass to go to restaurants, tourist sites and many other venues.

From this Monday all staff members must also show the pass, which requires proof of vaccination, a fresh negative virus test or recovery from Covid-19. Those who 'do not' risk suspension or other punishment and businesses that do not comply face potential fines.

Not sure it's like that in England/UK but my friend in hospitality work in York says a duty of confidentiality in her work place deems nobody really officially knows who has had what and the same for customers who visit the premise she works in.The courier bike riders who deliver food for them are mainly students who openly admit they've not had jabs, the chef from Latvia admits he'll not be getting jabbed & neither will his wife and kids and the supply delivery drivers are a mixture of cultures stating some have been jabbed whilst others admit to not having the jabs by choice.

Not sure what's right or wrong reading Hopey's latest piece.
For those interested suggest you look up and read the Israeli research paper - anyone who has already had CVD will feel more relieved.

Those who have had Covid and also been vaccinated may feel even more comforted still.

Wife and I just had a positive covid test yesterday, came from nowhere - definitely didn't have it Wednesday [Did a lateral flow test] definitely do have it now - Laterall flow and PCR tests.

Thank **** we are both double jabbed!!

At the moment feels like a dose of the flu - no better but no worse, just the thought of another 8 days self isolating yeeeeek!!

but cannot believe how lethargic and worn down I feel.

Suppose this should help improve my imunity for the future - equivalent of a booster jab!!

Hope you both feel better and fully recover soon but yup on the bright side it will boost your immunity too - or so the research suggests.

    Keep safe

Hope your granddaughter recovers soon Tichi and take care of yourself.

Think your experience may be repeated a lot over the coming months.

Cheers Hopey, Its not just the granddaughter though - thats the problem - she has been in contact with her extended family, My son, daughter in law, her parents and cousins who met up for a barbeque - from all over the country this weekend, so my catching Covid could quickly have infected a dozen or more others, so, bad as I feel with the covid, and from passing it to her, the guilt of infecting so many inadvertently is the worst bit!

One of the worst factors of this is the transmition to others before you are even aware of having it and testing positive. No guilt should be attached to that, Tichi. Victim of circumstances. It's those that recklessly gather when they already know they have it...but still choose to do it!
