I look forward to next Saturday, pre match 'shouldn't keep rolling out Wood, see how it goes'. Win? Deafening silence. Lose? Point proven.

Even if we win it will be repeated in the game after, saying it every game, we will lose eventually and that somehow vindicates a viewpoint.

All about a narrative that has already been cooked up. Most people can be wrong. Before the season I said Mattock was washed and a waste of a contract, he's been great the last few weeks and I couldn't be happier. I hope he shows me up all season and I look a right plonker saying he was done, I truly do. I would love it but some have an opinion and are precious when something plays out against what they think. It's okay to be wrong. Just stubbornly pretending your view is still valid despite all the evidence just weakens any argument you try and have.

The attendance yesterday was more than every championship game except Middlesbrough who had about 300 more.

I don't understand why some people thought the booing was aimed at Warne when Ben Wiles was named as man of the match against Fleetwood. Why would that be? Warne doesn't pick the man of the match, the sponsors do and I'm pretty sure the booing was aimed at them. No need for it though as it helps no-one and I'm glad that Ben has bounced back and proved the detractors wrong.

Just noticed the ref on Sat was from Sheffield. Seems a bit unfair that but I don't suppose the dee dars will do us any favours.

Also Evatt, commenting on the the yellow cards for him and Barker, said we were wasting time by putting the ball under the seat so he had to come into our technical area to get it. I can't say I noticed that did any one else notice that? Sounds to me a bit of a mardy arse anyway from his post match comments.

Not forgetting the referee was a Sheffield Wednesday fan, he came through the Sheffield & Hallamshire refereeing circuit.

Whether he had Sheffield connections or not,I thought he was fair to both sides,so no complaints from me.By the way always good to see us win away in the red and white.UTM.

I thpught that Bolton played him well especially in the second half. The way they hit the ball long after drawing us in meant that Woods was often challenging for a header on the half way line. They constantly blocked him off allowing the other forruds and wingers to attack to get onto the ball which he wasn't able to cut out.

I hope we do that and get away with it.

The booing at Warne was for subbing Rathbone
