He wasn't playing today but I'm thanking Wootton, Vincent, Slocombe et al in his absence

He’s always been a good shot stopper. It’s his command of the area that’s the problem.

Good 3 points in the end, should have been more in the second half though.

That's how it seems with Slocombe judging by today's game - good shot stopper, dodgy aerially!

Anyway we won in the end but it was not pretty.

Why have you turned up just to mock someone who went to the game in these conditions? Give it a rest.

    Lighten up misery.

I'm not mocking his attendance at all, I'm mocking his earlier comments. He was better keeping his gloves on than typing those beauties, have a read . Carlton's comments summed it up perfectly.

Coldest game I've ever seen at Meadow Lane was against PNE in a midweek early round cup game absolutely freezing and it went to extra time!!! Stood at the back of the Pavis for half the game moving about, stamping my feet in a failed attempt to not be frozen to death. Thankfully I was young then and able to cope #layers#beerjacket

Jeez, never been so cold at the footy….nearly called it a night myself at 70 minutes!

Fair play to them for sticking at it whilst not being on top form. IB mixed it up and we looked a bit better, think we went to a 4-4-2? The quality of the balls into the box was much better than recent games.

We look like a decent NL side at the minute, it’ll take some going to compete with the likes of Chesterfield, Stockport (especially), Wrexham…and even Boreham Wood.

First game I have seen this season. We deserved the 3 points and I can't comment on the weather conditions but relatively average overall. Cameron looked the best player on the pitch by a country mile. Taylor showed some nice movement and touches. Didn't think much to Rodrigues and another blunder by Sam from a corner. Some good movement but I can see why people get frustrated. If was giving out marks there would be a lot of 6's one or two 5's and a couple of 7's
