If Wootton had put in Mitchell’s display today - couple of missed half chances, loads of half work, the best moment in the game with his pass through to Vincent, it would go down as a typical 8/10 KW performance haha.

Both cracking goals IMO

Even though the first goal was basically a tap in, the beauty of it was in the creation. It had 'Burchball' stamped right through it, with quick incisive passes that few teams at this level can defend against. The second was Eli Sam at his best, a good first touch and an instinctive finish that left their keeper with no chance.

Also more than turned up at Rochdale for our FA Cup tie there.

Would say that we can not make this comparison without giving him a decent run in the team. Not that long ago people on here were questioning Wooton's conversion ratio. In the end I trust IB's judgement and if we keep him we will progress.

That was a very encouraging interview. My biggest doubt about Eli Sam has always been about his commitment, but his comments about training suggests I might have got him wrong. He's still something of an enigma because he's had his share of showing very little when he's had the chance, but I would love him to make me eat my words by the end of the season.
