Needs dropped and not a Captain.

The problem with dropping him is Woods is as bad if not worse. We just need to get to the end of the season and have a clean out of the Goalkeeping position. I would be happy if we could get Clark from St Johnstone

Lewis's drop-off since he became captain has been noticeable.
There was a lengthy spell when he was close to being the best keeper in the league.
He always had a funny one in him though, usually every three months or so.
But since being captain, he's just not been in the class as he was.
A large %age of being a goalie is between the lugs, if he's still here next season he cannot be captain under any circumstances.
Also if he stays, we need a decent back up, Woods is rank.

If the Keeper lacks confidence and isn’t commanding then that impacts upon the defenders, and vice versa. If, on the other hand, a Keeper is confident and commanding that can often have the opposite effect and the defenders will feed off of that. All of this perhaps explains why there have been too many soft goals and very few clean sheets this season. It needs to be addressed before we go into another season and I think that the manager will realise that. As for top six … this lot?! It’s been abysmal and I’m not sure if I really care as Scottish football is a joke.

Unless, there’s a significant improvement early on next season I doubt if I’ll be bothering anymore.

OK, Ah'm jist gan tae pitch in here .... Ah'm a fkn Don til Ah die. Ah dinna get tae games cos A. Ah'm skint, and B. cos Ah'm usually giggin somewye oot in the sticks on match days, but followin the games whether on ma phone in the gig van, or at hame whilst getherin ma gig gear tigither, is as much part o' ma life as breakfast/denner/supper.

Even fan we're sh1te, they're MY sh1te ... and fan we're sh1tee ... why bother? Well ... there's really nae 'bother' involved. It's nae like we're haein tae gie blood tae keep oor team alive. In my lifetime, Ah suffered the Bonethrone years ... enjoyed the McLeod resurgence ... enjoyed the McNeill honeymoon ... then celebrated the Fergie-fest. ..... then got back tae the sufferin.

But haein seen sufferin turn roon tae glory ... tho it took near a decade (it must be said) .... Ah ken it's possible!

OK, the game has changed, again and again, but it might well change again and again - as might well might oor fortunes.

Ah think Ah'm prob best described as a 'reserved' happy clapper, so Ah'm nae aboot tae hand oot free turd polish ... but FFS if ye actually dinna like AFC ... go support fkn Cove Rangers or some ither cυnts and lose yer urge tae 'doomangloomerise' this site - cos yer nae fkn helpin!

The Scottish game might also be sh1te, but it's far we are ... Ah've nae the slightest interest in ony ither country's leagues ... cos 'at's far we're nae!

As Ah said, Don til Ah die ... happy clapper, nae a gloryhunter. If yev said 'that's me finished/had it' mair than twice, then follow up an' fυck off ... rather than believe if ye say say it enough ye'll tak ithers wi ye. We all like a moan about the team at times and the reality is that it is truly deserved. I am sure every single one of us would prefer we win all our matches but alas…no chance.
I myself am currently scunnered. I made no attempt to watch the match at the weekend (I see every match we play when possible) as I didn’t like our choice of new manager and I think the chairman is full of absolute sh!t. I don’t even like the majority of our players
I will still follow the Dons through this time though and probably when the new season is about to get underway it will reignite a lot more enthusiasm from myself.

After two seasons out I am back in and season tickets for next season have been bought. As much as I tried to convince myself otherwise I missed it. Not sure why, but I do.
