It's on the ring road. Walkable from the town centre for able bodied ex soldiers!

Ok just checked and from the station - which is the other side of the town centre it's 2.9 miles. So by my estimate if your barracks are town centre it's maybe as much as 1.5 - 2.0 miles.

That’s just the reality.

I really don’t want European qualification just to be written of as a jolly, to me that’s like celebrating getting to cup finals. Sorry again for negativity, maybe few attacking signings might convince me otherwise but just not seeing it at the moment.
I think that's a realistic view. We look very unprepared for a European tie which will be played in just 16 days time.
But surprises can and do happen, and if there's one thing in our favour the first leg is at home.
Wee Jim always wanted to play away legs first but in our inexperienced position maybe a home leg all out onslaught is our best chance of springing that surprise.

An AZ fan on twitter said today he thought around 300 of them will attend Tannadice. He also said he expected around 12,000 home fans IF we play them.He also thought we would get more than the mandatory 1000 tickets if required.

That’s good of you pal….hopefully not needed with the stadium capacity you detailed.

Congrats on the expectant. Best wishes to the mum and (soon to be) newborn Arab!

If over 1000 faithful Arabs are planning to spend hard earned cash following the club to Alkmaar they deserve a stronger team by the first leg on August 4th.

Really hope AZ get through, as we've got flights to Amsterdam, and hotel booked in Amsterdam.
