I still use Central mainly for the reference and local studies sections, and my local branch which rather than being closed by the Philistines is actually getting major repairs this year. It’s usually being used by school groups when I pick up and return books, and is well-regarded.

I use Pressreader, Spydus, and Borrowbox, and the service is first class.
I'm at the library every week. Usually central, but also Mastrick and Bucksburn.

As an avid reader, I don't think I could afford to read all the books that I read without it.

I finally figured how to use Pressreader two weeks ago.
I was able to use it when logged onto a library PC, but for the life of me I couldn't figure how on my own computer.

I'm blaming my dyslexia, but the wife said it was more being a dopey ****

I’ll take in a couple of episodes before I get my three hours sleep. I think I’m about twenty episodes behind.

Aye, the lass he is strooping is a right boiler.

I suspect she's been around the block more times than a roadsweepers brush.

Bullet Baxter appears as the plod looking for Petra in the first of this week's episodes.

Probably means nothing to most, but Grange Hill was must watch TV when I was a kid.

I noticed it was a beardless Bullet getting manhandled by Alan Partridge.
George Jackson now a regular(ish) character.

I’m still in arrears. The last one I viewed, Roger’s folks were visiting.

I still remember Alan Partridge buying a jersey fae Marie’s clubby book, and George trying it on with a cushion shoved up it, doing an uncanny impersonation of the amply-girthed IT geek/bungalow occupant.

Not helped by his smarmy boss.

Please don't let him stroop Heather in an act of revenge.
