He's capable of the odd job or two.

For a guy with so much natural ability, albeit those clips were from 2019. Then why was he constantly being loaned out to other clubs at the lower end of the football spectrum ?? At the age of 25 someone that good should have been playing championship football.. Is there an underlying issue, that may eventually throw some light on to why he is where he is....

I think the same was said about JB, sometimes it’s just circumstances at the time, not always negative regarding the player.

Macauley Langstaff hasn’t turned out too bad since joining us as a 25 year old.
Sometimes players need to find a club that plays to their strengths. I have no idea about this lad, and whether he will turn out to be any good. What I do know is that he’s had a good football education at Arsenal and radar has spotted something in him. That’s good enough for me.

And me. They've had a pretty good success rate so far. One thing I do like about the club these days is that they seem to show a lot more patience with new players than we have done in the past.

25 is still young, and plenty of time to get to the championship with us. He said in the interview posted on here, earlier in the thread, that he didn't get on with the coach at Arsenal, much in the same way JB was treated at Spurs., so he wasted some time there. It is then possible that he has just been at the wrong club at the wrong time, it happens.

I am not sure who he was constantly being loaned out to, that were clubs at the lower end of the football spectrum.

In the past with our recruitment, I think I would have share your concerns, durham, but our recruitment team is a different animal these days. so I look forward to DC being a big hit with us, no need to get desperate about Dan.

Yeah I thought that before we signed Crowley. You're probably right, but as DC would seem likely to be a starter from his stats, I was just trying to read LW's mind as to how exactly we're going to destroy all before us next season.

all true and for me too, however without the benefit of all Notts scouting stats, DC's resume alone does raise questions so it's fair comment.

Noticed a couple of our recent signings have talked about working with LW as likely to increase their assists, goals, and other stats. Funny how players talk about the game these days.

The word I have from a Morecombe player is, doesn't pass, tries beating too many, bit greedy. I said he will have all that knocked out of him as doesn't suit our playing style. We shall see
