I believe the trialist is Ryan Strain from St Mirren. An Australian right back/winger who also plays for his national team.

Heard on the grapevine that we're about to sign several of his mates.

At this late stage he's the best on offer that's available to US.
He's a couple of weeks behind the rest of the squad re fitness levels.

Most people me included were impressed with the brief cameo of Josh Ayers, surely needs a longer run out on Saturday to see if he can handle adult football, l agree with Gru that development can stagnate without being more involved !
