His distribution in previous games has been good, but today his radar was all over the place.

I don't mind whether goalkeepers are more or less assertive in coming off their line. The problem comes when you don't know which one they're going to be. I remember Steve Mildenhall coming to Notts as a highly rated young goalkeeper but his weakness was very quickly evident: his decision-making was completely erratic. The great Steve Cherry on the other hand was never a great one for leaving his line, but a fantastic reflex shot-stopper. I think a good 'keeper can be assertive or conservative in their decision-making, but their defenders need to be certain either way.

He's always been rooted to the line, one of the things that has always been said about him even before Notts

Probably a great game for the neutral, but that second half wasn't good to watch as a Notts fan. First half we looked in control and took our chances, but we started the second half like we started at Sutton. We were disorganised and second to everything, and allowed them to take charge. They passed through our midfield with ease and their goals were no surprise. At least we had the balls to battle back, and the 3 points were the main thing. Another fantastic attendance with over 10,000 home fans, I hope they come back for more.

If a finger-biting 7-goal thriller doesn't bring 'em back for more, I don't know what will!

Still scratching my head about what the penalty was given for?
