    Good info Pocket but I'm now trying to work out through the process of elimination which player would have a Son at the Man U Academy! I never really thought they downed tools.You wouldn't have had all those home performances if they had. I just think the injury revolving door prevented any rhythm to team selection,formation,continuity and shape.Players could never settle into roles and I think this was more pronounced in away games when the home teams set up differently.That lead to shredded confidence which is shown when we looked stretched and were getting pulled from one side of the pitch to the other.

    I think what MT said about back to back high energy performances was a good point. We never could replicate 2 good performances.
    I don’t think it’s as simple as blaming MT for that.
