What is the process once a planning application goes in?

I take it ( just guessing ) that if planning dept passed it for approval it would then have to go to a full council meeting or special meeting......are objections looked at then or by planning dept?

Can it be stopped indefinitely at that stage?

To me August 25 looks a genuinely ridiculous timeframe but em no an engineer and havenae manufactured anything since I turned Douglas Athletic into a guid fitba side.

Anybody know ( Islay ? &#128515 How it all works.

I know a bit about how it works.
Once a planning application is submitted to the Dundee City Council Planning department a planning officer(s) is/are allocated to deal with it. After this is completed including their recommendation for granting planning permission or not it is passed to the Dundee City Council planning committee which consists of every Dundee City Councillor.
I managed to get this information from George McIrvine when I was a Dee4life Director as George McIrvine in addition to being a Dundee City Councillor is also a Dee4life director.
It is possible especially with the roads access and exit from the new stadium car parks that the full planning application for the new stadium development at Campy Nou will be ‘called in’ by the Scottish Government resulting in a public inquiry.
If that happens then Deeranged will be purchasing us all a pint in Doc Stewart’s at the end of August 2025.
I have already posted that an application for Planning Permission in Principle does not fit the requirements for this site unless John Nelms has decided to build a maximum of 9 houses on the whole of the Campy Nou site.

How many of these are you planning to vote against?

Well, have you not already put objections in regarding the new stadium. You’ve already stated on here that you wouldn’t mind DFC going out of business, just to prove your suspicions re FPS was correct.

I enclose the Planning Application section from the Dundee City Council website which also includes how to view the weekly and monthly lists of planning applications. https://www.dundeecity.gov.uk/servic...g-%26-building
This should be set up as a ‘sticky’ to allow easy access for interested people.
