I see what you are saying but most probably thought the same when TS sacked Redfern and brought in Warnock after the January window had already closed, I know I did. NW ended up getting 24pts from 16 games, even that return from here on in wouldn't be enough and 6pts from 7 games suggests LR neither has the ability or the players to do the same. I hope I'm wrong again.
My point was with the signings we’ve made it’s not going to make a lot of difference. I’m not necessarily saying he shouldn’t have sacked him just apart from looking a little more compact the results haven’t improved.
I’m not sure the timing was right.
I would imagine because Tony thought MT wasn't getting the best out of the players. Look at the performance we served up at Hillsborough. Aside from that, there was no sign of any improvement, in fact we were getting worse.
LR is dealing with that legacy. It's essentially MT's team that he's working with and it'll take some time to sort out.
At least the current coach has shown he knows the way out of L1 and as long as we can retain certain players we've got the nucleus of a good team next season.
Well unfortunately Neil Warnock isn't an option anymore.
He's at Aberdeen.
But similar to what has been said before,
Even Warnock and his Magicians couldn't save us now.
"Nucleus of a good side"
Didn't Stubbs say the same and we ended up with our worst points haul.
We are what we are a underfunded under atreacrive championship club.
Just accept we will go down more than we will stay up
