Maybe it was fair that they asked for the game to be postponed. But quite rightly the Rfl have acted quickly, and they classed it as a 48-0 win for Wakey.
But how much worse is this going to get, and who is to blame!!. 😕

Salford themselves are to blame Acido and nobody else , every club in Super League knows the RFL won't tolerate clubs who can't pay the bills , the rules are the rules .

I feel for the Salford fans of course i do but their club is an embarrassment to this great sport and I personally won't bat an eyelid when they are booted out of Super League .

The RFL didn't tolerate the Bradford Bulls a decade ago and we shouldn't be tolerating Salford for too much longer either .

Yeah if that's correct Animal, you do tend to lose most or all sympathy for them.
And those allegations about the female Chief exec, being asked to offer ***ual favours to some Rfl bosses, well that's just unbelievable and disgusting!!. 😦
I'd be happy to see them removed, and their Super league place given to Bradford or Widnes or Feath!.

    Betfred Super League Round 22

    Wigan Warriors 44 - 2 Wakefield Trinity

For the first time this season I was angry , this was a complete inept display that belonged in the era before Matt Ellis and Daryl Powell arrived at the club 2 years ago .

I never really expected to win the game , victories at Wigan are pretty rare and with Bevan French back in their lineup it was always going to be even more difficult .

What angered me more than anything was our abject performance , Wigan more or less did practically anything they wanted and we failed to even make a contest of it .

It was an awful performance and embarrassingly weak both physically and mentally .

6th place is still very much in play to extend the season and yet we turned up at a place where you have to turn up and embarrassed ourselves , you could argue we didn't turn up at all .

The well it's the first season back in Super League and look how far we've come doesn't wash with me because we've set standards this season even in defeat and we fell way short of those standards yesterday .

3 wins from the last 4 games should get us a ticket to the play offs given we've Huddersfield on Saturday followed by the derby at Cas and we finish at Salford with KR at home the only really difficult fixture .

All to play for which makes yesterday's performance all the more bewildering.

    Betfred Super League Round 25

    Castleford Tigers 26 - 22 Wakefield Trinity

There are defeats and there are defeats that resonate right in to the heart of your soul , it's never a great feeling when you lose the derby but this had extra layers of disappointment attatched to it .

Absolutely awful night , I knew Cas would be more than up for it having endured a wretched season , they would be massively motivated to put a spanner in our play off hopes and rescue at least something and some bragging rights .

What I didn't expect was that we wouldn't match them , Cas ran harder , tackled harder and scored some enterprising try's from some slick handling .

The evening ended with having to run the gauntlet back to the car park in Cas town centre while their fans gave it us large with many the worse for drink , the derby sometimes attracts a few who can go over the line .

You just have to take it on the chin and not bite and given the huge Trinity following last night it wasn't pleasant on Wheldon Road afterwards , I didn't witness any fisticuffs but it wasn't great and the wife who was attending her first derby at Cas isn't too bothered about going to another one over there .

As I said awful night .
