Not against Maloney per se, just seems like it would be another WGS jobs for the boys appointment and we've not had much success with them. I really don't have any faith in Nelmsy and WGS to get the appointment right and wonder if they're promising the Earth to their choice for the job and delivering a pile of sand. The Mexican and Burnley tie ins seem to be essential to whatever it is they're trying to do but they're delivering little.

I got the same ban from the other forum and they're all still there. I've started posting again but only the odd one or two, really not going to get worked up over it.
Sylla is an odd situation. Why make things look as thought he was available, and fit, to play and then not pick him?
Are footballers so small minded that they would deliberately sabotage their team mates by trying to lose a game? I don't believe it. There must be more to the Sylla situation.

Wonder how much Burnley paid to allow us to use Adewumi for example. Is there money coming into our club from Burnley and Mexico?

Maybe WGS and John Nelms are guilty of overselling the job at Dens. Don't think we are 6th biggest team in Scotland, at least interms of results, and maybe that's the problem.

It would be interesting if football clubs had to publish their financial performance in such a way that they could be compared. Think that might actually help all clubs.

It is a pity that all SPFL clubs in Scotland are not forced to publish their full accounts on the Companies House website.
Dundee United and St Johnstone have published full annual accounts for the year ending 31st May 2024 whilst Dundee FC publish Filleted Annual Accounts which tell us very little.
St Johnstone directors report even mentioned former players who had died such as Benny Rooney.
    In my opinion the Dundee Football Club annual accounts should publish as a minimum;
    1. The total income for the year.
    2. The total expenditure for the year.
    3. The annual salary of the highest paid director.
In March 2022 I contacted the Club’s auditors to highlight that there were four mistakes in the Dundee Football Club Limited annual accounts for the year ending 31st May 2020 because the Dundee Football Club Limited Company Secretary had failed to notify a debt for equity transaction on 8th February 2020 to Companies House.
This resulted in the Dundee Football Club Limited annual accounts for the year ending 31st May 2021 having to be restated.
The Club’s senior auditor admitted that he should have noticed this error and restating Annual Accounts is admitting that the previous annual accounts contained mistakes.
I asked the senior auditor why Dundee Football Club do not publish full annual accounts which Dundee United publish. The Club’s senior auditor told me that it is the Dundee FC’s directors choice to only publish Filleted Annual Accounts.

I will probably get slaughtered for this post.
I do not think that we are the 6th biggest team in Scotland because we are basing this on past glories.

Wonder if there might be a station who knows thetrue position. Suppose you added up all the league positions over a specific period say from the end of WW2. Rank all the teams in all the divisions as though they were one huge division and divide by the number of years that they were in existence. That would give an average score , which would allow a ranking to be calculated.

Islay, many many companies with large majority shareholders do not publish full accounts. The guarantee that the accounts are a true reflection of the performance of the company is based on the integrity of the auditors.

Dundee United FC publish full annual accounts and they hold an annual AGM for their shareholders to attend.
If it good enough for Dundee United FC then it is good enough for Dundee FC to do likewise.

I don't disagree with you. I think that an inference that somehow this is a sneaky decision by John Nelms is wide of the mark, and it is not sinister.
