There are couple of things for me, although the overall thing was that we didn?t turn up, certainly first half. They netted 6 times against us, how many teams have done that this season?

Murray love him or hate him, he still has pace as did Adewumi! Where was the pacy striker promised?

Campbell kind of reminds me of Dykes in a way a couple of good seasons, club cash in; but have seen nothing that convinces me that they are good players.

One of their centre backs scored 2 goals FFS; why can?t we press like that? There?s no substitute for positive play as Luggy says!

Bottom line well and truly beaten by a Dundee side more hungry and played to their strengths.

I don?t think we know what our strengths are.

    Still gutted!

It feels like we've been asking for pace in our team for much of the past decade! Ferry and Strain have helped a bit in that regard, getting us up the park, but we are so pedestrian all over the pitch, non more so than Declan Gallagher, who always risks being exposed in a back 4. I still can't believe Goodwin never did something to change it first half, to protect the defence and cut out the space they got when counter attacking. Thank god they decided to sit back more second half, could have been about 6 if it had continued like first and Goodwin didn't change it, as he didn't. If Moult scores that header, as he should, you are asking yourself as a Dundee fan why they didn't keep playing the way they did first half, even in the few attacks they had second half, are defence looked all over the place.

Babunski was rotten for a good run of games, but like you say, mystery how he can go from starting every game to virtually being exiled! Countless games when he could have been utilised off the bench. I really don't see what Campbell is offering to start every match, I don't even know what his role is? Just seems to float about the pitch and bounce off opponents. But I fear Goodwin is convinced he brings something to the side no one else sees, and will persist with him. We'd have been as well bringing in Arnaud Djoum and trying to turn him into a defensive midfielder

Tbf, you could have replaced 8 players Sunday easy.

Babunski (vice captain then) was also, like a good few in our team, played out of his favourite position. He prefers centre mid. unfortunately , in Scotland that comes with a price, bottle and aggresssion required. "too saft" I think, is the technical term.

He is also quite opinionated, hence the captaincy thingy. Maybe (maybe) the Gaffer prefers the talkin' to be done on the park against our opposition, instead of behind the scenes. All guesswork obviously, but as TTT mentioned , it is a bit of a mystery, there has to be a reason for it. Him and Doc both on the bench (hope that's right, I'm half blind) Yet, with our midfield MIA , JG didn't think to put one of them (maybe both) on the park to turn things around???

I'm guessing at, one still injured, the other very out of favour and being made sit through it!

Probably totally wrang... but..........I still can't understand why things weren't shaken up in that match (even before half-time)

The January signings have all been really disappointing - Campbell really poor and not sure why he still gets played. Hopefully he won?t be from now on as I though he was our worst player in a very bad first half

I thought babunski was really bad in the last few matches he played so no mystery why he?s not trusted anymore.

Also babunski out of contract in summer I think and if no plans to keep him then no point in playing him ahead of others

Whenever he is on the park we are better! But I take your point. Likewise, the Babunski situation a mystery, look d at his wiki page the other day, he does not stay anywhere very long.

Sam c Harding was told up until the weekend that he would be starting because gallacher was out. We can see how that worked out. It was clear that he wasn?t fit and neither was ferry. That cost is especially with the pace that Dundee head up front. Combine that with Campbell in the mid field running about like a headless chicken it was recipe for disaster. Changes needed to be made at half time. If not before.

Agree, our two most dependable players Ferry who shouldn?t have started unfit, and Walton usually so capable made errors that cost goals. It?s a sore one and we need points from the next three games to get back on track

Also agree with the comments re Campbell, he?s not adding much. Also Moult before Paton every time
