Appears to have been a bit more carelessness where former MP Craig Williams and others are concerned…betting illegally on the date of the last election.
    Will they never learn?

The thing is, even with insider knowledge, they are still probably too thick to get it right.

On the subject of careless postings, for clarity most of those charged were future candidates (who let's face it would have had little chance of winning). Also there seems to have been a careless ommission of the fact that a labour candidate was also charged for betting on himself to lose the seat!

Same trough, same pigs but they aren't all wearing blue ribbons.

Take your point, although tbf the Labour candidate was standing in a particularly safe Tory seat so the bet was equally safe…and admittedly stupid.

Bit different when two senior Tories both appear to use their insider knowledge to bet on the timing of the election.

Is it? I'd say two sides of the same betting slip. Equally wrong, you're fast becoming two tier along with the toolmakers lad.

How safe is safe - over 15k slashed off con majority in Suffolk North Ipswich, despite labour betting scandal.

Certainly both wrong, no argument there, but one, a no hoper voting against his own chances of success in a constituency that I think has only ever voted Conservative v two senior Tories using their insider information as to when the election would be.
Fine lines perhaps, but your earlier argument appeared to exonerate the accused Tory wannabes precisely because they stood little chance.

Only ever returned Tories I accept but look at the swing last time. Previous majority > 20k against a labour endorsed candidate. 2024 gambler still stood but without labour party endorsement and with his actions known to the public. He still cut the majority to 5k. A credible honest labour candidate MIGHT have won it.

Didn't someone once post on here that there's about the thickness of a Rizla paper between the 2 colours of Toryism?
