Genuinely think wee Glass is yer man for that. He needs time and patience but there's definitely a quality player there. In the meantime Pawlett appears to be back to full fitness. He's a better player than Stanton.

Agree with this, we have lost three in this space and have replaced with a talented although not ready kid, and pawlett who seems injury prone

Not too fussed if we don’t bring anyone else in this window. While we we will need players for next season, getting the right players can be quite difficult in this window. If the right player becomes available, fair enough, but no point bringing in someone who is a gamble. There will be better opportunities in the summer, and our squad is good enough to clinch the championship as it is.

Agree that Glass could be that man but if Robbie agreed surely he'd be starting every game instead of Pawlett.

Maybe but there are still plenty games left to give him a good run yet

That’s true. It just seems like we’ve gone from too much choice to no choice, assuming Pawlett will no doubt get injured again between now and May

Yeah agree with this too. It's possible our targets aren't available in this window. The reason I want to additions coming in now if they're available is to get them blended into the team with competitive games before the LC kicks off.

That’s why we’ve done so well this season. The core of this team was assembled last January and although they didn’t quite get over the line in May, the experience of playing together has been carried into this season with devastating effect. Contrast with the Funsters and ourselves over the last four years - assembling a new squad every 12 months will more often than not achieve nothing. Having said that, maybe the players RN has his eye on just aren’t available right now and we’ll have to bide our time. The Hibs cup exercise has been very useful though as it has clearly highlighted what we need to be working on.

Myself and Peter Mackie are totally shocked that not one team in the British Isles could afford the 300K release clause for Shankland.

There will also be the opportunity to sign players on pre-contracts between now and season end-
