Now that is a subject WanChai .

The company I work for is very profitable , the man who started the company twenty years ago is a very wealthy man .... to say the least .

He pays way above the normal rates for this sector , we receive a yearly bonus based on profits , 3k a man have been paid in extremely good years , he takes the entire staff to York races every June in a private box and all you can drink and eat is paid by him , the annual xmas party is also paid on at a very decent venue .

The productivity isn't a problem where I work .

I take the point his generosity isn't available everywhere but he doesn't have to pay the extras either .

Nobody leaves either other than retirement which is how I fluked a job at the company .

Even if that kind of generosity isn't available getting treated with dignity and a good culture doesn't cost anything .

If all good businesses did this it would be fantastic animal but unfortunately most employers with good businesses would rather take all the profit and give nothing back to the people who make them that profit in the first place.

The quality of management in the UK leaves much to be desired exile as I'm sure you know yourself .

Very little is spoken about this and its generally dumped at the doorstep of the lazy brit worker .

And its not an issue of lazy workers or bad producers. Its generally lack of investment that could be down to very many factors.

Productivity is usually regarded as output per man hour
Poor productivity without qualification [no reference to poor management] leads one to that conclusion as it's what you didn't write that speaks volumes

Who else is there to vote for for a working class bloke like yourself either vote left of Labour then or nowt because what is on the right side of Labour is basially wa nk. You are deluded if you think that any of the other partys basically give a shyte about you. ITs like jumping out of the frying pan into the fire. Criticise Labour by all means but that does not mean all the other parties are ok does it?

Trade Union and socialist alliance is one Kerr, I know they don't always put candidates up. I would be surprised if there are not some far left party candidates put up to counter Brexit party candidates and other far right party candidates in the next election.

I think most of the extreme Left in this country have joined the Labour Party, Roly. TUSC didn't put up candidates in 2017 for that reason.

No, the Labour Party can't count on my support in its current iteration.
