Bit of a weird one today. A 5 and a 4

I usually flip between doing it on either my laptop or my phone. Started on the phone and after a couple of guesses it looked like the word might end in OAST so thought those cunning Wordlers have gone with a word almost identical to yesterday so tried BOAST and COAST which were both available but to no avail. Only thing left was TOAST so went with it and got a 5 and thought they must have forgotten to change the word today.

Switched on the laptop and it said I hadn't done it today? Hmm? Should I try TOAST? I did and as we now know it was wrong.
