    Not too many years ago, most ministers, of either political persuasion, caught breaking the rules would resign. Then after an 18mnth-2 year period would more often than not, return to the fold in a very similar or slightly lower ranking position. Honour satisfied, jobsagudden. Even though that system was bordering on farce, I think I much preferred it to the present day one of never resigning, regardless.

    Not my first thought MP, that was what a tw@t Mr Hancock was but it isn’t really worth posting that as it’s patently obvious.

    Not being on Twitter I haven’t seen any response from Mr Ashworth he is usually not shy of being on tv and it was strange seeing Ms Dodds instead.
