Correct, we’re playing 10 across the back.
Opposition won’t be able to score and neither will we so, get your money on 0-0 draws.
Seriously, unless something amazing happens and soon, our fire power may be our downfall. We desperately need a good CF but how far is Tony prepared to go to land one?
The obsession on another defender is baffling when it’s the other end of the pitch that is our major concern.

You know Brin it's not just a case of us wanting a striker and one turning up. If you had a million pound to spend on one striker who would you buy? Remembering warne and all the rest need to agree on him. His club want to sell,. The player wants to come,. We can afford the wage, plus his agent gets his cut.
If we say there's 2000 strikers/CF in the league's. 60% we couldn't afford. Another 30% will be not good enough for the championship. Another 5% we will never have heard of as 18-20 (Hirst type)
That would leave a 5% pot where the likes of Luton, Blackpool, derby, Sunderland, sheff wed, Barnsley, ipswich, Coventry ect will be searching...
That is so negative a view, I would prefer to say that our recruitment team are very capable of looking around the footballing world and identifying a group of targets for any position. That selection will already include the factors that the panel are looking for, in the same way people recruit specialists in any field. The final stages are package, interview and medical the outline package and personality interview can all be done in the first round of interviews, then there will be the secondary stages, obviously the devil is in the detail and you will lose a few in thoose stages. It is also those stages that can take the time, running over weeks not days. I think Brin comments were not really about that he appeared to be questioning the recruitment priorities based on the position of that player, and that scoring goals and having some options in that space would seem a higher priority than in defence. I am also of that opinion as goals win games and due to injuries our options in that area of the team seem very restrictive.
Cayton pal, I am fully aware of all the permutations you mention. As for the likes of the teams you mention in your closing, they are already set up with their forrads where we dither as per the norm. As for us spending a £million pound on a player, please stop it my sides are still aching 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Isn't he going to Stoke ?
