Exactly, his replacement has already been announced by the Danish FA, just say that he's taking over after the completion of his duties. If a player is distracted in a major tournament by a press release about a manager who is already known to be leaving, they aren't going to go far in the game

Is that official from their FA? I saw one report from Denmark speculating on it but didn?t see anything official, if it is maybe I?m on the wrong lines, wouldn?t be the first time 😂

Yeah just looked, I think it?s still plausible with the timelines of Maynard going and sorting this that I honestly think most FAs wouldn?t want their coaches being announced mid tournament, 2 or 3 weeks before maybe yes, but not right at the start or midway, I imagine that?s hardly ever happened before regardless to whether their contracts up.

Why can't he announce he's going to a club but, the Danish FA can announce his replacement?. If the players know he is going before the tournament starts, can't see how it will make any difference to when he announces his depature

But that was back in March that was announced. I imagine once a tournament is underway an FA wants no distractions and total focus on it, no media questions directed at him etc and that?s why to my knowledge I?ve never heard of it happening just before or during a tournament and remember we?re owned by Dane?s so they probably don?t want to be seen as rocking the boat either. It?s a complete hunch from me, nothing else.

You mean it benefits the Notts fans some of which are seemingly getting very restless.

Perhaps he/they view it simply that there is more downside than upside in announcing it. Seems logical to me. Of course all this assumes it is him of course
