Handy to have a few potential votes behind you though to bribe the eventual winner with.
Who has though? Not one standout candidate to take over.

I suspect a few years of decline for the SNP, before Sturgeon goes back to the frontline by the end of the decade, but with a clearly earmarked successor in tow.

What you need to understand about AFC is that they are utterly, blindly and pathologically sh1te. This is a problem because it colours everything else they do. Right now, we need an Aberdeen side who are focused on the basics. We’re coming out of the Goodwin era, AFC have just left European football for good, and AFC can’t even sort out reliable defence for our starting XI. The back four are full of holes, service to the strikers has been cut so badly, one questions what they actually still do, the ASC is not great, our league position is off the chart, stewards are more concerned about being politically correct than crime and our U16s are being coached extreme left-wing tactics. What are they doing a good job of? Propaganda and self promotion. People who love Aberdeen are seemingly oblivious to their failings. They’ve managed to align themselves so strongly with Aberdeen identity that it is seen as unpatriotic to not support them.
Phil, whose other hobbies include hare coursing & sitting in his sisters bath water said ‘Well I like being Aberdonian but I like winning football teams and I don’t care if fans think I’m massive helmet or not. I’ll happily ditch a life long commitment on a whim. I’m off to support Celtic & I’d encourage you to do the same. What I care about is having an effective team in Scotand at this critical time in our history and AFC are not it. C’mon the Hoops’’
    Superb,

I’ve been at this game a while noo (1970 was my first active election campaign), hence the knowledge and the strong disdain I have for contemporary wishy-washy politicians (a) pretending to be radical (b) churning out glib pish for the sheep (c) the banality of their social media posturings.

Other than those expressed above, I have no strong feelings on the matters under discussion.

I don't want to kick a good Woman when she's down. But this is also part of Sturgeon's legacy nobody beneath her was allowed to shine they were all Yes Men and Women, Alternative views and ideas were not encouraged so what we have now is a load of frightened sheep wandering around wonder if they should stand.. Its a Sh1te state of affairs,

    You’re not far wrong.

Mediocrities promoted for their kiss-arse loyalty rather than capabilities or work ethic in seeing the tough ‘operational’ jobs through, whilst talking in rhetorical cliché-ridden loud voices about abstracts.

I’ve worked with dicks like that, and it was one of the reasons I got the fuçk out as soon as I could afford to.

That was always going to happen, given how quickly the party expanded. The jam is spread very thin.

A change of approach is needed & I don’t think any of the people standing, have it in them to do what’s required.

Kathleen Nutt in today’s Herald On Sunday writes that the Green Party may dissolve the current agreement with the government’s major partner if Forbes gets the gig, due to her Wee Free fundamentalist views on abortion, same-*** marriage, and the ban on conversion therapy.

I keep asking people to confirm that we are actually living in the third decade of the 21st century.

We'd be well shot of the green party.
I won't be wasting my second vote on them again.

    Aye you're right.
    Bring back Alex Salmond.
