I prefer to focus politically on matters at home at the moment. I look at Radcliffe where I live and I don’t have much optimism. No banks left. Not even a banking hub. If you actually need to see someone at a bank that means a trip to Bury or Manchester. HMO’s wherever you look and under Andy Burnham’s Places 4 Everyone a big chunk of our greenbelt is scheduled to go. Two supermarkets yes Asda & Lidl but not too much else to boost footfall in the town centre. Does it look better where you live? If yes, probably count yourself lucky. Volunteer groups work hard to keep our town litter free and our green spaces tidy. Our latest Water Rates show a 28% increase over last year and I haven’t had the Council Tax bill yet.Winter Fuel Benefit gone. Still waiting for the new & only secondary school in the borough to have a permanent building and the purpose built health centre is so expensive to lease that one of the major medical practices is pulling out. The question for me is not why are people looking to vote Reform but rather why are they still voting Labour or Conservative. Things won’t change until you vote for them to change and I don’t think our two main parties are interested in changing our political system.

"DOGE finds millions of instances of social security fraud in database including a 360-year-old and 'vampires'. Elon Musk today shared staggering data showing there are millions of dead Americans still eligible for social security payments."

"The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is investigating wasted taxpayer money as a matter of urgency after Donald Trump promised voters huge savings at the federal government. Elon Musk posted a chart on X showing that there are more than 20 million Americans listed over the age of 100, including 3.9 million in the 130-139 range, more than 3.5 million aged 140-149 and more than 1.3 million in the range 150-159. There is even an 'alive' citizen aged over 360, according to the records."

The scale of the fraud is staggering, and this is just one item in one government department. Everything that happens in the USA arrives over here eventually, I can't wait for a British Elon Musk to audit our Foreign Aid Budget, I'd love to know by how much and by whom the British taxpayer is being ripped off with that particular scam.

More media fed bollox. Eton Mess has to justify his $18 million a minute fees somehow.

Elon is niggling your mates in the US of A a lot more than he's niggling you mon ami, in fact they're running around like headless chickens in an attempt to stop him exposing the fraud, but it's too late, the genie is out of the bottle and there's no getting it back in.

No bloody wonder! News that the acting head of the Social Security Administration left her post this past weekend after facing off with Elon Musk's lieutenants over their efforts to access government records set alarm bells blaring, with advocates warning that the unelected billionaire is moving to seize highly sensitive data.

"There is no way to overstate how serious a breach this is. And my understanding is that it has already occurred," said Nancy Altman, president of Social Security Works, a progressive advocacy organization that warned late Monday that "Elon Musk is stealing your personal Social Security data."

Like I said above mon ami, running around like headless chickens trying to put the genie back in the bottle. Your mates have been found out, the American taxpayer wants blood, and wibbling about SS numbers won't save them, the Donald won't be backing off, he said he'd be coming for them and he certainly is. Have a look at this, and this is just a snapshot of what Musk is finding.

It's all a joy to behold.

"US taxpayer dollars were going to be spent on the following items, all of which have been cancelled:"

"$10M for "Mozambique voluntary medical male circumcision."
"$2.3M for "strengthening independent voices in Cambodia"
"$32M to the Prague Civil Society Centre"
"$40M for "gender equality and women empowerment hub"
"$14M for "improving public procurement" in Serbia"
"$486M to the ?Consortium for Elections and Political Process Strengthening,? including $22M for "inclusive and participatory political process" in Moldova and $21M for voter turnout in India"
"$29M to "strengthening political landscape in Bangladesh"
"$20M for "fiscal federalism" in Nepal"
"$19M for "biodiversity conversation" in Nepal"
"$47M for "improving learning outcomes in Asia"

Probably the tip of the iceberg.

Yes, they are running scared because their liberal, woke, feel good about themselves gravy train is hitting the buffers.

Would that Musk could look at Britain too!

I'd love to know what happens to all of those Mozambique bell ends?
