Not quite on the same scale, nowhere near in fact, but I take your point.

I'm sure there are many just fed up being ruled by politicians who are so far removed from the reality of most in the UK.
    Immigration shambles
    Energy costs shambles
Legal system billions wasted over the years.
Policing in UK probably at its lowest in my lifetime.
    Striking workers in many areas.
    Tory party shambles
Labour party as above but slight recovery
    Snp, see Tories.

Not all supporters of independence are snp supporters,I know plenty who think even if we are a bit worse off it would be worth the gamble as it ain't great just now.
I respect those who prefer the union, change is hard to implement and some in employment could be affected If I was in that position I would probably think the same.
I doubt it will happen but the arguments on here are easily solved,it just depends on who you quote.

Why would anyone vote to make Scotland worse off?

Some of the reactions on here by some people to perfectly well put arguments are comical.

I get the impression that if one person says black the other says white just looking for the rise. Trolling I belive it's called. Thankfully most of us are above it.

It's about the economy stupid......best political quote ever although it's not quite the quote.

Now that the SNP are far left there would be tens of thousands who would leave if it ever came about......it won't happen but I'd like it to be enshrined in law so it can't.

Auick question to those against independence.
If we were able to deal with
    Homelessness
    Immigration
    Drug issues
Benefits getting to those entitled to only.
    A better funded nhs.
Would it make any difference to those against?
Or is it cash at all costs?
I would happily pay more tax if this was the case.
Strange how we are taking it up the arse with the cost of living, energy prices etc but the thought of a tax hike.
    Oh God no.
    Strange
