I think the only way to settle this blame thing that is going on ,is to ask yourself this .

When your at work , do you have to have the manager running up and down the work place screaming orders at you just to get you motivated and do your job properly & to the best of your ability , or is the job & maybe the pay enough to motivate you out of bed each morning ?

I thought most managers sat in their office while the work force got on with their jobs. Any one see the @rse game last night , Bilic was sat in the middle tier & no where near the touch line.

Seem a lot of you overlook the fact that we have quite a few new players in our squad , now surely & just ask the squirts this, they are all going to need time tk settle in and gel together, the season has only just kicked off a couple of weeks ago and before that in pre-season we were absolute pants in every game.
FFS the Mighty Man Poo also lost to a lower league club and they have

Personally, I have never worked for a manager that is even in my country and the current one I have, I have never even met. I motivate myself by having some pride in what I do and try to justify the salary I am on so I couldn't give a **** as to what my manager does during a working day.

All I know is that a lot of what we were asking for was executed the other night...passing football, youth and experience mixed, new signings and pace in the side.

So we lost to a team that had 2 shots on goal by basically scoring an unfortunate own goal...it happens...Happened under Redknapp, happened under Lyall and will keep happening. Man Utd just lost 4-0 to MK Dons with Hernandez, Welbeck, Kagawa and Evans in the team. QPR just lost to Burton Albion and by all acoounts were awful yet most would have Redknapp.

I do think thought that the team put out were releatively new and while they played the game on the deck, you could see that some of them need more game time. Downing made a big differenc

Funny, I don't remember you given him that much credit when we got to the semis last year. Or was that cup run nothing to do with him. It's only the bad results that are down to the manager.

I can understand why you don't want Allardyce as manager, but at least try to be consistent.
I'll keep that in mind boss. If I could be ar5ed to analyse your posts, I'm sure I'd find a fu(king tea-strainer, so many holes.

Generally, he doesn't take the cups that seriously. I think most will agree on that in his time here.

amazing how we can differ so much on my initial point, lack of effort and motivation

the man sat back like a fu(king don, taking another £60k and yet again, not taking the cup very seriously

i think once you're pro or anti it dictates most of your arguments on most things at the club

You're right, people's stance on the club and the manager will influence most of the arguments on here, a

In terms of a football club then HM, can you tell me what you think the role of the Manager is?

A manager rather than a coach should do the following IMO though having read Warnock, Clough, Redknapp and Ferguson's book it is probably more with Warnock having to even order the food and bog rolls at QPR

Outside game
Organise preseason and decide what is needed.
Decide on the Overall strategy and style for the season
List Players sought
List Players that should be sold
Possibly negotiate/discuss moves with players (but not so much nowadays I guess though he did with Kouyate)
Choose traini

Couldn't really care less if Allardyce looks comatose during games. I've never much rated managers who spend all the time in their "technical area" waving their arms around and making all sorts of obscure signals to players.

It's a bit like getting people "pumped up" at international level by singing their countries national anthem (Spain excepted of course). FFS if the world cup semi between Brazil and Germany had been awarded on the strength of anthem singing Brazil would have won hands down.

They didn't because, although the Germans mumbled their way through "Einig Keit, und Recht, und Freiheit" they took the almighty p1ss where it really mattered.
