Have you cottoned on to why the rest of us tend to leave the Googlechild to just get on with it yet?
I'm only guessing because I have the **** on Ignore so i don't have to read his repetitive recycled drivel, but Romanis seems to be trying to have a reasonable debate, at what number post did the Googlechild throw in a childish insult?

Sometimes you only see the best of players, even great players, because of who they are playing with! It maybe a combo like Di Stefano and Puskas, Messi and Inniesta or purely a team like Brazil'70! Yes any of the players mentioned would stand out anywhere but could they be classed as great without those alongside? All those mentioned played in great teams, all the great teams had great players. For me they are all the greatest and I have been fortunate enough to see many of them!!
With regard to could they be great in the modern era, of course they could. Class and skill will out in any era!!

They all legendary in their own right but one candidate has to top the others and be crowned the rightful greatest player of all time.

Bloody hilarious, actually I was being rather cruel for my own entertainment by urging him to defend the article and others. Boszik, Andrade and all the name dropping from someone else's list as his own.
Financial Polarisation Era was another gem. Lolz.

Oh its tempting to try, but even if your ask reasonable questions or ask fora justification of his views, you still get absolute piffle back and in the end one realises its not worth it.

Whats even more funny is repetitive consecutive posts, and the fact that I'm assuming he posts replies to me even though I have him on ignore and can't see his posts and frankly have no interest in reading anything posted by him again.

Been fairly mild so far Swale, a few suggestions that 'it's' right and everyone else are idiots and making themselves look fools!! Has, of course, replied to your posts (has'nt quite grasped what 'on ignore' means)!! Still, provides one with some amusement having a pet buffoon to pass the time by during this nothing happening period on the mighty Rams front.!!

Roger You don't go to many matches if you don't think players cheat They all do from defenders to strikers

Nothing new there, I'm old enough to remember dirty leeds, what Bremner and Hunter did was sheer GBH on the pitch! I guess that thnakfully has been clamped down on, but player will always try to "get an edge".

So what classes as cheating? The grappling and holding that goes on n the penalty area? That for me is blatant fouls but the FA seem incapable of stopping that, players going down? Sometimes they fall getting out of the way of a tackle, sometimes they are going so fast that a mere touch can send them off balance, sometimes they feel contact and go over, others they carry on despite a clear foul and nothing is given.

Unless we want football to be a dull anondine game then the balance is fine, but for as long as man has played football gamesmanship has been part of it and its part of the fun, for me Ronaldo is one of the most gifted players I've watched play football.
