What I like most is that because it didn't work out the way some people on here wanted, i.e. maintenance of the status quo in The Derry despite clear evidence of potential fatalities meaning a closure notice being served, it means the club bent over and took it. No acceptance that negotiations took place and a compromise was reached, a compromise driven by the club.
Life's a coont folks, sometimes things don't work out the way you want them to and you have to accept change. Best thing to do is accept the change and move on otherwise you just get all bitter and twisted.
OK. The load of nonsense is the idea that you can PATG for the MainStand and you can't do the same for the SE. IMO, It is not a load of nonsense that the club had to accept these conditions in their attempts to negotiate the continuing use of the SE. I am trying to suggest that the club should be trying to get a PATG option for the SE. Do you have anything constructive to put forward?
Argue, discuss, call it what you want, but don’t just accept
Unions failed ?, depends what you measure it against, can’t say my union has failed, it’s one of the strongest in the country, times move on and industries change, that’s not the unions fault, ask anyone at Michelin if they’re happy with settlement union got them, couldn’t save the factory, that’s due to economic changes around the world due to countries like China, but without a union the workforce could and would have walked away with a pittance, the union also fought for the workforce’s at places like NCR, Kestral, Levi’s to name but a few, you never hear people complain about the pay offs these people got, just a shame their jobs couldn’t be saved.
Constructive....Jesus b cram what's the point when people are saying "clear evidence of potential fatalities"......If those that are happy to accept the status quo can talk nonsense....let's all join in.
I'd love to see the mystery cctv footage that has apparently scared the bejesus oot of Deeranged.
Oh and from what I've heard from family members there's been evidence of crushing at lessor gardens but I doubt the DAB council will serve a notice on themselves.
