I'll agree with Gump's answer to this one. Just a thought though, what about the Krauts breaking the Appeasement Agreement signed by both Chamberlain and Hitler that was broken within a year and led to WW2? A lot worse than breaking an agreement that possibly could lead us to still be under EU law regarding how we trade with NI. I watched all the debate yesterday in parliament and all the Socialist's screaming and wailing about one thing .... breaking the law. A few Tory 'wets' agreed also. The Socialists to me and the ridiculous play acting by Milliband just shows me what they really are; weak and underneath just remainers looking to oppose everything that the Tories do. Won't happen mate, we are winners, you are not. I think we will still get a deal we want by October 15th as strength and perseverance will always overcome weakness. Another thought .... strange that your area, Mansfield and Ashfield are now Tory strongholds after years of the Socialists. Nottingham City Council and the failed Robin Hood Energy scandal, another example of Socialist ignorance when it comes to making money.

The lobbyists behind Brexit and unelected PM Cummings have never once wanted a deal with the EU - they just never put that to the public in a referendum or general election as it would be unpopular (see 'easiest deal in history' 'oven-ready deal' 'we hold all the cards' etc). They are now floundering around looking for a scapegoat as to why there is no deal and the catastrophic economic impact and failure of supply chains of no deal that will be quite obvious to everyone in January.

We are being fed a complete cock and bull story from the UK government amplified by wealthy backers who stand to make hay from the tanking of the pound and a completely deregulated UK economy (including poor food standards). It's the average man in the street that will pay for the above but they have been fed the lie that the EU is the devil for so many years from those same sources that this horse**** is sadly falling on fertile ground.

Another doom monger. We'll get our deal .... if we don't we'll still be fine. We are rich Mapperley, we are England.

I’ve just come in out of the sun, and I won’t lie, I thought I suffering from some sort of heat induced delirium when I read Seriouspie’s post. The Tories and Brexiters on here do some straw clutching, but I must admit ‘at least he’s better than Hitler’ is a new one.

I was just wondering, what’s now stopping Scotland from unilaterally organising another referendum, Spain from reclaiming Gibraltar, or Argentina sending their troops back into las Islas Malvinas? Will the UK government screech about ‘international law’?
